Good tip. I'll have to remember that.
Many of you may know this, but for those who dont:
You know when there's rebates and they hand you the 4 foot long receipt, the rebate forms, the copy of the rebate forms, the spanish version of the receipt that you received the rebate forms......
... and you shove the giant wad of white ribbons into your bag and go home to play with your new gadgets.
Instead of filling out those stupid forms, cutting the UPC, filling out all that crap, mailing it and praying that a check shows up...
... at the very bottom of the forms is a reference to http://www.bestbuy.com/rebate
You simply enter the "Offer Number" found on the rebate form, the "Customer Service Number" from your receipt, and your address.
That's it.
Check's on it's way.
I've done this with a router, USB adapter, DVD writer, and today a hard drive. They don't really want you to know how easy it is because they hope you'll never file for the rebate.
